As School Business Manager at Singlegate Primary School one of my main duties is the responsibility of the Financial Management of the school, and making the best use of resources. When setting the budget I ensure allocations are correct enabling the smooth running of the financial year, and that resources are allocated in a way that benefits the children.

I negotiate contracts with suppliers in order to make significant savings which can be beneficial to the school.

I also cover Human Resource administration, payroll, premises and have line management responsibilities. I work with the office staff to ensure that the office runs smoothly, and that as a team we are able to support all staff, children and their parents.
