Teacher's Comments

My name is Mr Hall and I started at William Morris this September. I am really excited about teaching in Year 4 and cannot wait to get stuck into all the amazing topics we have coming up!

I love to travel and explore new places that I have never been before. In 2013, I spent 4 weeks working with a charity in Kenya, helping build schools and complete community projects. I was able to learn to dive and explore the seas off the coast.

I love PE and staying active. During the winter, I play hockey and in the summer I play cricket. I think that it is really important to keep fit and healthy as not only does it help your body, but it can also help your brain stay healthy.

Our class is named after the King of Rock and Roll himself… Elvis Presley. He was the founder of Rock and Roll music and a fantastic performer. He was so passionate about what he did on stage and thrived to be the very best. In Presley class, we aim to do our best and always find ways to improve on what we are doing, inside and outside the classroom.

Our class author is David Walliams. I love reading his stories and enjoy how he makes the reader laugh out loud, whilst developing a really good plot with some amazing characters. My favourite of his characters is Peter Picker from his book, The World’s Worst Children. We will defiantly be hearing from Peter in year 4. After doing some research into David Walliams, I learnt that he was from Merton. Being from the same borough as the school can inspire people to do amazing things!

I am new to London and would love to meet you all. If you see me, please say hello!
